PRAYER OF GOPIS TO LORD VISHNU
TO PROTECT CHILD KRISHNA

अव्यादजोङ्घ्रिमणिमांस्तव जान्वथोरू
यज्ञोच्युत: कटितटं जठरं हयास्यः
हृत् केशवस्त्वदुर ईश इनस्तु कण्ठं
विष्णुर्भुजं मुखमुरुक्रम ईश्वर कम्
चक्र्यग्रतः सहगदो हरिरस्तु पश्चात्
त्वत्पार्श्वयोर्धनुरसी मधुहाजनश्च
कोणेषु शंख उरुगाय उपर्युपेन्द्रः
तार्क्ष्यः क्षितौ हलधरः पुरुषः समन्तात्
इन्द्रियाणि हृषीकेशः प्राणान्नारायणोऽवतु
श्वेतद्वीपपतिश्चित्तं मनो योगेश्वरोऽवतु
पृश्निगर्भस्तु ते बुद्धिं आत्मानं भगवान् परः
क्रीडन्तं पातु गोविन्दः शयानं पातु माधवः
व्रजन्तमव्याद्वैकुण्ठः आसीनं त्वां श्रियः पतिः
भुञ्जानं यज्ञभुक् पातु सर्वग्रहभयंकरः
डाकिन्यो यातुधान्यश्च कूष्माण्डा येऽर्भकग्रहाः
सर्वे नश्यन्तु ते विष्णोर्नामग्रहणबीरवः
May Aja protect your feet, Animaan your knees, yagna your thighs, Achyuta your hip and Hayaasya your stomach. May Keshava protect your heart, Isha your chest, Inah your neck, Vishnu your hands, Urukrama your face and Ishwara your head.
May Chakree guard you from the front, Hari with his mace from behind, Madhuha and Ajana with bow and arrow and sword on your sides, Urugaaya with shamkha on the corners, Upendra from above, Tarkshya on the earth and Purusha with the plough from all sides.
May Hrishikesha protect your senses, Naraayana your prana, the Lord of shwetha Dwipa your chitta,and Yogeswara your mind. May Prisnigarbha protect your intellect and the Highest Bhagawan your Atma .
May Govinda guard you while playing, Madhava while sleeping, Vaikuntha while walking and Shriyah Pati while sitting. May Yagnabhuk, the terror of all evil spirits, take care of you while eating.
May all evil be destroyed for the child by the power of the names of Lord Vishnu
