Causative form of verbs:
पठ्  to
read   अहं पठामि   
I read
              अहं छात्रं पाठयामि  I make the student read
              त्वं पठसि  
you read
              त्वं छात्रं पाठयसि  You make the student read   
              सः/सा पठति  he/she reads
              सः/ सा  छात्रं पाठयति he/she makes then student read
कर्  to
do   अहं कार्यं करोमि          I do work
             अहं  भृत्येन कार्यं कारयामि I get the work done by the servant
             त्वं कार्यं करोषि          
You do work 
             त्वं भृत्येन कार्यं कारयसि   
You get work done by the servant
             सः/सा कार्यं करोति         He/She does work
             सः/सा भृत्येन कार्यं कारयति  He/She gets work done by the servant

Column 1  shows the form of the verb in present tense
(third person, singular) when the subject himself does the action. Column 2
shows the form of the verb (present tense, third person, singular) when the
subject makes some one else perform the action.
Exercise:
Write the
causative forms of some more verbs (present tense, third person, singular) and
use them in sentences
